The story behind

Where fashion meets purpose

Our Mission

Looking Good —and Feelin' Fine

LEL Foundation seeks to create and support a world where individuals with disabilities are included in all aspects of life without explanation, including equitable access to the pursuit of a good life for individuals and their families. Feelin’ Fine is a LEL Foundation initiative that provides job training, employment and integration into the greater Indianapolis Community to achieve the good life.

In 2025, that vision became Feelin’ Fine, a boutique designed to create pathways to employment, skill-building, and community integration. Every associate is empowered to play a vital role in the store’s success, while every purchase directly supports the LEL Foundation’s mission of inclusion. More than a place to shop, Feelin’ Fine stands as a model of how business can drive social change and expand opportunities for people with disabilities to achieve “the good life.”

When a beloved chocolate shop closed its doors on the bustling Mass Ave in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, the LEL Foundation saw an opportunity to transform the familiar storefront into something with lasting community impact. Rather than simply filling a retail space, the LEL Foundation envisioned a boutique that could merge fashion with purpose, providing both one-of-a-kind clothing and meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
